                             Yule Glow Punch

   1      Liter         Apple Juice -- (1 quart)
  20                    Cloves,Whole
   4                    Cinnamon Sticks
   1                    Lemon,Juice of
   1      Liter         Red Wine (Burgundy, Chianti (dry)) -- (1 quart)
   1      Liter         Port Wine -- (1 quart)
     1/8  Liter         Brandy -- (4 ounces)

1)  Simmer apple juice, cloves, cinnamon and lemon peel for 15-20 minutes.

2)  Remove the spices, add lemon juice, red wine and port and simmer again.

3)  Heat the brandy and pour it into a fire-proof container wide enough to accommodate a ladle.  Ignite the brandy and ladle it slowly into the hot punch.  When the flame has died out, stir the punch and serve it in pre-warmed cups or glasses.
