                              Sugar Cookies

   1 1/2  Cups          Confectioner's Sugar, Sifted
   1      Cup           Butter
   1                    Egg
   1      Teaspoon      Vanilla
     1/2  Teaspoon      Almond Extract
   2 1/2  Cups          Flour
   1      Teaspoon      Baking Soda
   1      Teaspoon      Cream of Tartar

1)  Mix sugar and butter.

2)  Mix in egg and flavorings.

3)  Blend in dry ingredients and mix well.

4)  Form dough into a ball, wrap in cling film, and refrigerate for two to three hours.

5)  Roll 1/8 inch thick on a lightly floured board and cut with cookie cutters.

6)  Sprinkle with decoration and use wax paper to press decorations into cookie dough.

5)  Bake  on a greased cookie sheet for 7 to 10 minutes at 190° C (375° F).
