                         Seven Layer Mexican Dip

   1 3/4  Cups          Refried Beans -- (14 ounces)
     1/4  Cup           Sour Cream
     1/4  Teaspoon      Ground Cumin
                        Hot Pepper Sauce
   2                    Avocados
     1/4  Teaspoon      Salt
     1/2                Lime, Juice of
   1      Clove         Garlic
     1/4  Cup           Minced Onion
   1      Cup           Sour Cream
     1/3  Cup           Green Onions
   2                    Tomatoes, Chopped
     1/2  Cup           Black Olives, Sliced
   2      Cups          Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

1)  In a bowl, blend together the beans, 1/4 cup of the sour cream, the cumin and hot pepper sauce to taste.  Spread evenly on a tray 12 inches in diameter and at least 3 inches deep.

2)  Make some quacamole using 2 avacados, 1/4 teaspoon salt, the juice of 1/2 of a lime, 1 clove garlic and the 1/3 cup minced onion.  Spread the guacamole over the bean layer.

3)  Spread the remaining 1 cup of sour cream over the guacamole.

4)  Spread the green onions over the sour cream.

5)  Spread the chopped tomatoes over the green onions.  Be sure to drain them first to remove any excess liquid.

6)  Spread the black olives over the tomatoes.

7)  Spread the cheese over the olive layer.

8)  Serve with tortilla chips.
