   1      Cup           Margarine
   1      Cup           Sugar
   2                    Egg Yolks
   1      Tablespoon    Vanilla Extract
   3      Cups          Flour
     1/2  Teaspoon      Salt
   1      Teaspoon      Baking Powder
     1/3  Cup           Milk
   2      Ounces        Chocolate,Baker's,Unsweetened

1)  Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder and set aside.

2)  Melt the chocolate and set aside to cool.

3)  Cream margarine and sugar.  Add egg yolks and vanilla. Add sifted flour mixture alternately with the milk.

4)  Divide the dough in half and add the chocolate to one half.

5)  Divide the halves again.  Using a large rectangular sheet of waxed paper, place one of the chocolate parts on the paper, put one of the plain parts on top of it, cover with an equally large sheet of waxed paper and roll the dough out until it is about 1/4 inch thick.  Roll the dough up like a jelly roll, roll one of the sheets of waxed paper around it and refrigerate for about 1 hour.  Do the same with the remaining dough, only put the plain dough on the bottom this time with the chocolate on top.

6)  When the dough is firm enough, slice into rounds, place on ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 10 minutes at 190° C (375° F).
