                           Melting Lace Cookies

     1/2  Cup           Butter, melted
   1      Cup           Quick Cooking Oats
     1/2  Cup           Brown Sugar, firmly packed
     1/3  Cup           Flour
   2      Tablespoons   Milk
     1/2  Teaspoon      Salt
   4      Ounces        Semisweet Chocolate

1)  Preheat oven to 180° C (350° F).  Grease two large cookie sheets and set aside.

2)  In a medium sized container, melt the butter, then stir in remaining ingredients except for the chocolate.

3)  Drop batter by level teaspoonfuls two inches apart on cookie sheet.

4)  Bake 7-9 minutes, or until lightly browned.

5)  Remove from oven and let stand for 1 minute, then quickly remove to a flat surface to cool.

6)  Melt chocolate carefully and use a small knife or spatula to spread the back of one cookie with chocolate.  Use a second cookie to make a sandwich.

7)  Store cookies in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
