                                Lamb Curry

 900      Grams         Lamb,Cut into Cubes -- (1 pound)
   2      Large         Onions,Sliced
 110      Grams         Butter -- (1/2 cup)
   6      Cloves        Garlic,Crushed
   1      Teaspoon      Ginger,Ground (2 Teaspoons Fresh)
     1/2  Teaspoon      Cinnamon,Ground
     3/4  Teaspoon      Cumin Seed,Ground
     1/4  Teaspoon      Turmeric
     1/4  Teaspoon      Red Chili Pepper,Ground
   1      Tablespoon    Corriander,Ground
                        Salt to taste

1)  Melt butter in a large pot.  Add the onion and garlic (and fresh ginger if using it) and saute until the onion is browned
(about 15 minutes).

2)  Add remaining spices and saute 3 minutes.

3)  Add lamb and saute for 10 minutes.  Add 2 cups of water.

4)  Turn the heat to low and cook until meat is tender.  If needed, add more water.
