                           Holiday Cheese Ball

 280      Grams         Cheddar Cheese,Sharp,Grated -- (10 ounces)
 225      Grams         Cream Cheese,Room Temperature -- (8 ounces)
     1/4  Teaspoon      Salt
   1      Tablespoon    Cognac
   4      Tablespoons   Orange Juice,Fresh
                        Zest of one orange
   1      Cup           Walnuts, Dates or Raisins
     3/4  Cup           Walnuts,Chopped, or Cranberries -- Decoration

1)  In a food processor with the knife blade, combine the cheddar, cream cheese, salt, sugar, cognac, orange juice and orange zest and mix well.

2)  Add one cup of chopped nuts, dates and/or raisins and blend.

3)  Decorate outside of ball with either cranberries or chopped nuts.

Serving Ideas : Good served with ginger snaps.

NOTES : Can be frozen without the cranberries.
