                             Greek Spaghetti

   1      Cup           Butter
   1      Wedge         Romano Cheese,Grated -- Try 150 Grams ???
 500      Grams         Spaghetti,Dry -- (18 ounces)

1)  Place butter in a heavy small saucepan on very low heat.  Allow to cook several hours until butter is clarified.

2)  About 3/4 hour before serving, cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water.  When done, drain well.

3)  In a large casserole dish, begin to layer the ingredients as follows:  spaghetti, some of the butter, generous sprinkle of the grated cheese.  Continue until all ingredients are used and put any residue of butter on the top.

4)  Place the dish in an oven heated to 135° C (275° F) for at least 15 minutes to warm thoroughly and to melt the cheese.

NOTES : Kate, can you tell me what Romano cheese is?  Is it pecorino romano?  How much does "1 Wedge" weigh?
