                        Chocolate Nougat Ice Cream

 200      Grams         Toblerone Bittersweet Chocolate -- (7 ounces)
   2      Cups          Half and Half Cream
     1/2  Cup           Milk
   3      Large         Eggs
   1      Pinch         Salt
     2/3  Cup           Sugar
   1      Teaspoon      Vanilla Extract

1) Break the two Toblerone bars into pieces and combine with the cream and milk in a saucepan.  Cook, stirring often, over medium heat until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth.

2)  Meanwhile, in a medium-sized bowl, mix salt with the sugar and beat in egg yolks until sugar is dissolved.  Add 1/2 cup of the heated chocolate mixture to the yolks to warm them, mix thoroughly and then add the yolk mixture to the balance of the chocolate mixture in the saucepan.  Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened (about 2 mins.).  Stir in the vanilla and cool.

3)  Pour into an ice cream maker and process for 40-50 minutes.
