                            Caribbean Bananas

  25      Grams         Butter -- (1 ounce)
  50      Grams         Brown Sugar -- (2 ounces)
   4                    Bananas,Fresh,Large
  60      Milliliters   Rum,Dark -- (2 ounces)

1)  Place the butter in a shallow dish and microwave on HIGH for 45 seconds or until melted.

2)  Add the sugar and microwave on HIGH for 1 minute.  Then stir until the sugar has dissolved.

3)  Add the bananas and coat with the sugar mixture.  Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes, turning the fruit over once.

4)  Place the rum in a cup and microwave it on HIGH for 30 seconds.  Pour it over the bananas and flambe immediately. Serve at once.
