                                 Bean Dip

   1      Can           Refried Beans
   1      Medium        Onion,Chopped
   1      Clove         Garlic,Crushed
     1/2  Teaspoon      Cumin,Ground
   2      Tablespoons   Vegetable Oil
   2      Teaspoons     Chili Powder -- (or more to taste)
     1/2  Teaspoon      Salt
     1/4  Cup           Butter
          Dash          Cayenne Pepper

1)  Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and saute the onions until they are soft.

2)  Add the garlic and saute a few minutes more.

3)  Add the chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper and salt and saute for 30 seconds.

4)  Add the refried beans and mix well.  Continue to stir the mixture over the heat until the beans are heated through.

5)  Add the butter and stir until melted.  If the mixture is too thick, a little water can be added.
