                             Baked Wild Rice

 200      Grams         Uncle Ben's Wild Rice (1 small box) -- (7 ounces)
   1      Large         Onion,Chopped
   1      Large         Garlic Clove,minced
     1/4  Cup           Butter
     1/4  Teaspoon      Salt
   8      Ounces        Mushrooms -- (small can)
 400      Milliliters   Beef Stock -- (14 ounces)
     3/4  Cup           Celery,Chopped Fine

1)  Melt the butter with the garlic and salt in a large skillet and saute very gently to season butter.

2)  Add the onions, mushrooms and celery and saute for about 2 minutes.

3)  Add the rice and saute until the rice is golden - about 4 to 5 minutes.  Stir frequently, being careful not to burn rice.

4)  Add beef broth and bring to a boil.  Boil for 1 minute.

5)  Pour the contents of the pan into a caserole dish or bread pan and bake at 180° C (350° F)  for 40 minutes or until liquid has evaporated.
